Cat Snoring
When the cat sleeping in the master side or intimacy with you, you can often hear it sends a continuous ”snore, snore” sound. Most people mistakenly believe that this is a cat snoring at sleeping. In fact, snoring is from the vibrating of the vocal cords.
From a medical point of view, the skeleton of the cat larynx composited by the thyroid cartilage and cricoid cartilage. Larynx is divided into three parts, the upper is the laryngeal vestibule, trailing edge is false vocal cords. Cavity between the false and true vocal cords is the second part of the larynx. The third part is cavity between the vocal cords and the cartilage ring, which is very narrow.
Cat’s snoring is a false vocal cord vibration, through the laryngeal cavity resonance and audible. In fact, when the cat snoring, they did not fall asleep. Cat will not snoring when they are playing in peacetime, mental stress and fall asleep. Only the cat satisfied or lying in a relaxed and happy spirit of the master’s arms , they are snoring. At this point, adult cats and Persian is more prominent, while the baby cat seldom snoring.
Persian snoring is because their shorter nasal and adult cats snoring is for they know more how to enjoy the health, have a better understanding of people’s affection and intimacy issued in satisfaction of snoring.
In addition, if the baby cat or big cat all non-stop snoring in any circumstances, there may be respiratory tract infections, and this must not mind the effect of light.
