The sleep disorder of habitual snoring can begin at most any age for most anyone. Even though snoring is more common of those that are obese or overweight, and more men snore than women are more likely to snore as they age.
For those individuals both adults and children, who occasionally snore, there are very few concerns besides those that try to sleep through your snoring. But for those that are habitual snorers, the case of snoring can be a more serious problem for the health of the snoring person, and the spouse or partner of the snoring individual. Not only is the snoring individual not ever getting the proper hours of required sleep night after night, but the spouse or partner and can become even more sleep deprived than that of the snoring individual.
When the snoring is extreme, the snoring individuals will often wake themselves up by the snoring intermittently and never will they fully be rested. The one that is sharing the bed of a habitual snoring individual will also be so sleep deprived that many of them end up moving out of the shared bedroom just so they can get a much needed good night’s rest.
Not only will this be a serious problem for the snoring spouse, because they often do not understand how bad their own snoring actually is, but also separate bedrooms is very often highly undesirable for the non-snoring spouse or partner too.

There are two kinds of sleep snoring disorders: One sleep snoring disorder is primary snoring and the other is obstructive sleep apnea. The first sleep snoring disorder is far more common and is basically a telltale sign for people that they may have the obstructive sleep apnea, or the second type of snoring disorder, in the future. The second sleep snoring disorder, obstructive sleep apnea, is ultimately a sleep snoring disorder that can ultimately kill you.
Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) occurs when the brain sends the signal to the muscles and the muscles make an effort to take a breath, but they are unsuccessful because the airway becomes obstructed and prevents an adequate flow of air. The inadequate breathing airflow make he/she can not able to get enough oxygen and may show signs of gagging or choking and will wake up multiple times during the night.
A common sign of obstructive sleep apnea is a sore or dry throat in the morning upon waking. Frequently people with apnea will wake several times during the night, sometimes by their own snoring, or from a choking or gasping sensation caused by their airway being blocked. These wakeful periods during the night interrupt their sleep and cause daytime sleepiness, which is another well documented symptom. Some other symptoms may be observed; such as
forgetfulness, mood changes, headaches or a decreased sex drive. People with central sleep apnea may experience many of the same symptoms as people with obstructive sleep apnea.
